Poetry

Today I feel that all you lovely readers could benefit from from an original poem, so here I go.

Why is it that people think poems must rhyme,
when ignoring this trait would save so much time?
Poems would then have so much free range,
though to put them to music might turn out quite strange.
If I wrote a poem I would write what I thought,
and I wouldn't care if it rhymed or not.
